BRAINS & BRAWN #18

"Genetically Modified Food (GMO): When Man Plays God"
Picture
In today's world, some humans tend to think that they can play God, only to end up with an experimental abomination. Changing or altering genetics is not right.

It's like tasting the forbidden fruit.

Think about how scientists and researchers are starting to advertise that you can genetically change your child before it develops.

Does blond hair and blue eyes really matter that much?

What about a change in DNA so that someone can be born doing math?

Is mankind really that insecure?

It is not Nature's intent and there will probably be a consequence from going against what is natural. In every case, going against nature means facing a negative and possibly a deathly consequence. This relates to the food we eat as well. Along with changing the genetics of humans, they can change the genetics of animal and plant life - and then we eat it.

Not even the most innovative genius on this planet knows everything about genetics.

Even though the FDA says that GMO (Genetically Modified Foods) may not pose any threat, they don't know that for a fact. I think that whatever is unnatural, there must be a consequence for the use of such thing.

Examples of GMO are; pigs develop with less fat, vegetation grows faster with a natural herbicide/pesticide, colors of plant life are changed, etc.

Don't get me wrong, I don't have proof that GMO products will kill us, but what I do know is that when you mess with nature, it usually comes around and bites us in the butt.

Be safe and choose wisely!

See you again next week.. :)
Kindest,
